Post Innauguration… It’s Over!

This was mine and many others first Inauguration, and not really knowing what type of turn out to expect made it even harder.  The build up leading up to Tuesday was intense and fun, I felt as if I was back in New York City again.  The delays ran into a problem of cancellations and guest running late in the tux’s and gowns trying to grab a bite before heading out to a night of dancing and fun at various area balls. A good friend of mine from DC City Blog stopped by for a late glass of wine, and an interview to discuss the new change in our capital. I am looking forward to the new administration and, like many other chefs and restaurateurs in the city have my fingers crossed to have my new neighbors The Obamas come by for dinner…
